Kobe Bryant uniform question...........

I never heard the reason why he went from #8 to 24 uniform number.. any help?? just curious.. thanks, ivan

When Kobe signed with the Lakers he always wanted his original high school #24 but it wasn't available so he took 8. He also had 33 in high school but the Lakers have retired #33 thanks to the mighty career of Kareem. Once he could get #24 he took it.
