Time between grading and appearance in database?

Can anyone tell me how long it takes for a coin to appear in the PCGS database after it's been graded? I bought a freshly slabbed coin on eBay a couple of weeks ago, but when I enter the serial number I get a message that the coin cannot be located in the PCGS database. The coin had to have been graded at least 3 weeks ago.

    Usually 3 days.If it doesn't appear,just email them and they take care of it quick.

    Last time I had this happen, e-mailed PCGS and got it fixed. There are 2 databases, but my understanding is that they will be combined soon.

    I've been running into this quite a bit lately. there are 2 databases , that will be combined in the next 30 days , as noted by Keith. Until that happens , you sometimes check the coin certification , and it's ok , but when you try to enter it in your set , it says the number is not found. Gayle said this would be fixed in 30 days.

    Thanks for the advice, guys. I'll be sending an e-mail to PCGS to get it fixed.
