Mystery 1930's Canadian Sports Illustrateds

I have five of these--four are Ottawa Sports Illustrated, one is Toronto Sports Illustrated. They are dated mid-1930s. They have articles and pictures on Canadian sports, and the language is English, not French. Ever seen anything like them/any idea what they are?
