New Topps Heritage Excel Checklist!

Hey Guys-

I've been working on this on and off for the past couple of weeks. I keep all my Heritage stuff in the checklist that was originaly sent to me on these boards. It serves its purpose, but there are some things about it that always bugged me - maybe I'm just a little too nerdy here. This took a LONG time, and hopefully you guys will get some use out of it too. I've been playing around with it, and I'm sure there are still some formatting bugs, but it's working really well for me so far. Some big improvements that have made things a lot more efficient for me. There are now individual cells for serial number (where applicable) and price paid for EVERY card. In addition, this one will add up the total spent each year automatically for you, and there is now a "Total" tab on the bottom, which adds up the total amount you've spent from all years. I've also put N/A for a lot of cards that are on the checklist but (to my knowledge) were never produced, and I've added some in that were missing from the original checklists. Like I said, there are probably some mistakes, and if anyone notices, feel free to point them out and I will fix them. I plan on adding this to my own Heritage page so anyone can download it.

For the cards I have in my collection, I generally highlight them red so that I can see at a glance what i have and what I need. SPs are bolded. I also did my best to clarify some of the SP descriptions for 2004-2007 on some of the cards that were confusing.

If anyone has any suggestions for improvement, they are most definitely welcomed. It's also a little scary to see how much cash I've put into these cards over the past few years.

  • Just taking a quick look, this looks great - thanks very much! I'm certainly going to use it, but I'm afraid to input numbers into the "prices paid" sections... Thanks again, a lot of hard work on this clearly.

very cool. That must have been a ton of work.

    Thanks for doing all that
  • Geezuz, I'm glad I didn't keep track of how much money I spent putting together the 03 and 04 sets because it would probably make me cry now when I see them going for $200 on Ebay.

Thanks for putting this together. I had actually given up trying to finish my heritage sets because the lists on the Topps website were so confusing when it came to short prints and variations. I have been waiting for something like this, thanks!

    Thanks, Jeff.

It looks like I'll spend this weekend in the Heritage cave, which is actually a semi-temperature controlled storage unit. Wippee!

Hey- is the link still working? Everytime I click on it, it goes to website not found? I'm I the only one?
  • zep33zep33 Posts: 6,897 ✭✭✭
The link acted weird for me when I tried clicking it after searching for this thread with the keyword Heritage. It then worked fine when I went to the thread the normal way (without using the search function)

If the link says "Download is here" it should work fine. If it say something else, you'll get page not found

Great! Thanks, that was it. I usually search on "Heritage". Going to the thread directly worked.
