How to fix wrong flip?

I just noticed today that PSA put the wrong flip into one of my cards during my last sub. What do I need to do to have this fixed? The correct flip is supposed to be “1999 Topps Chrome Traded” because there is a standard Topps traded card.

That's called a mechanical error. You send it back to them and mark mechanical error on the submission form, and they will fix it for free. Also, call PSA's customer service and they will let you know about getting voucher(s) to cover your costs for shipping the card to them and also back to you. Their mistake should not cost you any more money. I have 2 flips myself that need fixing, and I will be hand delivering them to PSA at a card show in my area that they will be at on the 18th.

This is good to know--I could have taken advantage of it a few times. Is it on their web site somewhere?

No. It's just knowledge passed from board member to board member.

If you have a bunch of errors, it's best to send them individually or a few at a time. That way, you will get more vouchers

I don't necessarily agree with the "send them individually" idea because if they are compensating you dollar for dollar with the vouchers, thats just like buying them yourself cause you're out of pocket for the postage.

I guess it all depends on what cu rep you get on the line when requesting your vouchers.

I must be lucky because every time I have called, I always get someone that sends me one voucher worth one free grade.
