Couple of registry questions

1. In type set registries, when it shows "X" number of coins the same and "X" better, do these numbers represent the amount same and better in just that date or in all dates in that series?

2. If you have a coin with just the "cam" designation and not the "dcam" designation do you get any credit at all for the "cam" designation.

1. The pop numbers represent only the coins with the same PCGS coin number. (ie. same date, mint, variety, etc.)

2. Depends on the set. Some give bonuses, some do not. They ussually tell you near the top of the set page.

Click on "set composition" and it will tell you the value of cam and Dcam within that set.

thanks folks. the set only shows "DC" bonus. I would have figured they'd at least give a "cam" bonus for 19th century proofs if they give Dcam points for modern stuff. I would think a seated quarter with a "cam" designation would be a better piece than a "DCAM" prez dollar.
