John Smoltz question

Does the 1989 Fleer set contain John Smoltz's rookie card???? or at least the Fleer RC for him???? thanks for any info, I have an unopened pack with him on the bottom and was trying to decide whether to rip or not....

Well, his first fleer card was in the 88 Fleer Update. The 89 Fleer is his first found in packs along with Topps, UD, Donruss
