Wichita Eagle-Beacon Bubblegumless card

Anyone have any of these looking to compile the checklist they were issued in the Wichita Eagle-Beacon newspaper in 3 card strips in 1983 and again in 1984. If you have any let me know even it is just 1.

I have one that has Gary Carter, can't remember the others in the strip. I'll find it and scan it for you tonight.

I remember when those came out. My grandmother saved them for herself....never gave them to me.

The newspaper strip I have is of the "THE WICHITA EAGLE-BEACON". It is dated Monday, June 20, 1983 and has Mike Fuentes, Willie Aikens and Nolan Ryan pictured on it. Here is a scan of it.

There was a time they did not & I don't believe anything has changed.

I doubt if they do. They typically don't grade fragile items like this that could be damaged in the slab.

Not always true. They grade newspaper clippings of other players and they grade Propagandas Montiels which are very fragile.

Thank you for clarifying. I made my this statement based on the fact that they don't grade 1979 Topps Comics any longer. About 15 years ago, I started grading them, and after a few, they stopped and I was told it was because they were too fragile and could easily get damaged in the holder.

Yeah that was annoying when they stopped grading the Comics!
