Peyton Manning MVP???

IMO Drew Brees should have been the MVP (5,069 yards passing - 2nd best only to Marino, 34 TDs, 17 Ints, 65.0% completion rate, 96.2 passing rating) versus Manning (4,002 yards, 27 TDS, 12 Ints, 66.8% completion rate, 95.0 passing rating)

I think he got screwed because the Saints did not make the playoffs. I guess it is hard to give someone the MVP when they can't "carry" their team to the playoffs like Manning did?!?! Now that the Colts are out, did it make sense for him to be the MVP?
