American Gold Eagle Unc Uncirculated set on Backorder

I ordered an uncirculated GAE set on 1/1/09. Checked this morning and it's on backorder and to ship on 1/18/09. Is this the beginning of the end for these coins?

1/4 oz Gold American Eagle Proof
When I got my email confirmation it showed that the 1/4 oz Gold Eagle Unc. and the Double Prosperity Set were "In stock". The 1/4 oz Gold Eagle Proof showed as 'backordered' with ship date of Jan. 17, 2009.
But then this morning when I went to check my order status through the U.S. Mint site after reading this thread, all three of my items now show as 'backordered' and expected to ship on Jan. 18, 2009. IMO, the Mint is getting down to the 'tag ends' on these and they will be going dark very soon. I have no expectation I'll get any of the 3 things I ordered, but I hope so.

Yes! The American Gold Eagle Unc Coins appear to be going DARK!!
I just placed orders for Sets and 1 ouncers and while going thru the order cycles, I get "In-Stock" but once I go to my Order List, they each show:
"1 unit backordered. Expected to ship on 01/18/2009."
