My Bill Clinton & Monica Lewinsky custom cut card created by TheHun

Along with my Munson, TheHun also made me this Bill Clinton & Monica Lewinsky custom cut card. The autographs are both out of authentic signed books. Turned out neat.

    David and Doran,

Monica Lewinsky would not sign a cigar with the Presidential Seal on it for me. (yes, I actually tried, I handed her a $50 bill as a bribe) She was going to do it for me, and one of her handlers told her "No, Monica" She was giggling like a little school girl. If it hadn't been for her "agent", I would have had an awesome signed piece to auction that year. I bet at that time, I probably would have got $3,000-$5,000 or so for that, from an eclectic collector.

I have used photoshop and other digital imaging programs since the mid 90's and I used to do national advertising and web sites for large automotive corporations for many years and I totally disagree with your statement. Yes they could have gone with many other fonts, and he could have did the card a million different ways, but it only matters if Mike Navarro is happy, and I'm sure he is very happy. Lastly, your comments are actually very rude to The Hun and to Mike Navarro. If you were only joking, then you have my apologies in advance.

I'd also like to see a "scan" of the back of the card - maybe there are various "stats" there. LOL

    Stevek,

The back is the lower scan in the post.

    Brian,

Thanks for your thoughts and yep, I'm happy with it. Looks good to me and is a lot better than I could do personally.

    Metrotheme,

Thanks for your opinion. I don't mind the difference in our opinions. That's why it's in my collection and not yours.

  • Let me guess, I'm a "hater" for giving my opinion. Have we become so PC in this world that one cannot provide a dissenting opinion? Did I rain on his parade? It is now rude for one to comment that they think something is unattractive? Please! This is a discussion board. I just thought the design on the card was wack and I stand by it.

I respect your opinion and you have every right to state what you said. I was only stating that your reply which said, "The font looks pretty cheesy / amateurish on that piece" seemed more like sarcastic than critique. I'm sorry if I came off as too critical to your comments.

For me it is the subject matter of the card that is "pretty cheesy / amateurish" but to each his own.

Most non-collectors say people that collect and pay a lot of money for cardboard are "pretty cheesy / amateurish" but as you say, to each his own.
