Daniel, your catalog entries for the 1 oz. silver Ameros have the images switched with the wrong descriptions.

I like that Hard Times Token, will be ordering several.

Why does anybody think that my Firefox browser says that when I click dcarr's sig line link that:

    "Reported Attack Site!

This web site at www.designscomputed.com has been reported as an attack site and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

Attack sites try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system.

Some attack sites intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners."

This has never happened before to me.

Something strange is going on. I've checked all the html files on my site and there is nothing in the source code that shouldn't be there.
But I did a test and the results were strange. I typed www.designscomputed.com in an email and sent it to myself. Then when I got that email back, I clicked on the link in that email. It took me to this address (as shown in the Internet Explorer address bar): http://www.designscomputed.com:80/
I have no idea what the ":80" is. When I select the Internet Explorer "View/Source" menu, the html code shown is perfectly normal (simple code - nothing abnormal). I tried uploading all the web pages again and there was no change.

I also did a test by typing this in the Internet Explorer address bar: www.cnn.com:80
That took me to the usual CNN site. Other suffixes ("such as ":70", for example) don't work.

    Seems strange.
I did a google search on www.designscomputed.com and google says in its listing:
"This site may harm your computer."

I hope you get it resolved quickly -- It's way above my comprehension.

<< <i>The Donkey and the Elephant, squatting on (adding their weight to) the pyramid is symbolic of both political party's contribution to (and encouragement of) the average citizens' debt load.

The flying monkey is symbolic of the distraction technique used by some to divert attention from the real souce (cuplrit) of the problem. "Woo, look at the flying monkey !" - big bad oil companies, greedy speculators, etc. etc. Nobody notices the "man behind the curtain" - the Federal Reserve which is really the culprit here and has as it's perpetual main focus the maximization of the collection of interest payments in all forms.

The flying pig is symbolic of the chances that this will end well - "when pigs fly". >>

I thought the flying monkey carried the same meaning as the pig: "When pigs can fly" or "When monkeys fly out of my..."

Well, that's the thing about language and symbols, it's pretty subjective.
Symbols only point to other symbols, ad infinitum.
    Context is only somewhat helpful.

The medals arrived today. Couldn't be happier - ordered ten more today (plus an Amero and a Denver 2006).

So how about we put a hardtimes token and an Amero (or set of) in a single Lucite holder. We can stack them vertically with the hardtimes token on top. The caption under the hardtimes token reads, "The Problem" The caption under the Amero reads "The Solution."

Then we photo it and paste it around the web. Maybe send the model off to one of these aluminum-foil-hat wearing radio talk show hosts. Then sit back and watch the chaos...
  • Anyone make out the edge lettering on these?
One part says "pay no interest" but I can't make out the rest.
I'll have to look under the scope later.
  • Quoting Daniel Carr in the E-Sylum:

"I just wanted to point out that it also has edge lettering which can be hard to see. At the top on the edge it says 'Don't Borrow Money'. At the bottom on the edge it says 'Don't Pay Interest'."
  • Thanks. I purchased 10 and sent 1 into school today with my 5th grader.
I told him to give it to his history teacher and perhaps he can discuss
the token's symbolism and symbolism on U.S. coins.

The design is great and fully represents the Federal Reserve.

Every dollar printed is actually a unit of debt. We are the largest debtors on the planet.

Every time I buy something, I ask if they accept debt, I get some strange looks.

They think it's American, like apple pie, and the Constitution, far from it.

I go on to tell them that the Fed is partners with private banks, i.e Rothchilds, Warburgs, Rockefeller, Morgan etc...

Is there an official list of banks? No one seems to know, not even the President.

    Again, great design.
