The Latest Resealing Thief on Ebay...

Stay away from this dirtbag...he was an avid buyer of vintage wrappers from all years and sports and now is selling his repackaged junk because his feedback history is old enough so that you can't see his previous transactions.

It's nice too see my spending totals in pounds sterling instead of dollars. Makes it seem much smaller.
That's why I always give my weight in kilograms instead of pounds.

Another dirtbag theief...this guy is AKA "xyzblaster" who has also changed his username after getting a stream of negatives for resealed packs. You need a scorecard to keep up with these thieves, though it seems like many of these IDs are from the same thief.

I have to believe those GAI packs he's selling are ones he probably "sneaked" past GAI which in my opinion, isn't a difficult thing to do.

that is correct although you don't need to sneak them past gai these days , they will holder anything if you pay them a grading fee. I won't touch there new holder unless I know where the pack or box is from.
here is a sample for you of a resealed gai pack from this guy

notice the black dot on the edge on the back scan of the pack is the same as the wrapper that was sold, these wrappers are impossible , the one pictured was the only one sold in the past year on ebay and has the same marking and the exact same cut of the wrapper. his scan is terrible but I am sure in person you can see the scrunching that is in the scan of the wrapper.

That's good detective work presuming that "black dot" wasn't prevalent in that area on other packs as well, but I believe you. Hard to figure if what you say is true that GAI "will holder anything if you pay them a grading fee" then why this seller didn't send in all the packs he's offering to be slabbed by GAI. I guess scammers do sometimes think in strange ways, and perhaps he's thinking that he's building some sort of credibility by offering raw unopened packs and slabbed unopened packs.
All I know is I'd love to find a 1965 Topps Baseball wax pack that was "guaranteed" to be unopened. Sadly unless the pack came from something such as a little old lady from Pasadena whose husband owned a 5 & 10 store in the 60's and had some unsold packs laying around the house for years, I really don't fully trust the "established sources" out there when it comes to 1960's and 1950's genuine unopened wax packs.
enough complaints against a crook, they act.

In the years I have collected unopened (and quite a few packs have crossed my path) I have never seen a '60 penny pack in person.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

This dirtbag was formerly known as "xyzblaster." His FB was killed with negs, so he changed his username and finally started this new one. Amazing how these thieves keep reinventing themselves. Another seller with good FB "andym62553" is also selling the bogus packs he bought from both xyzblaster and his alter ego.
