Hello, my name is Gary and I am a Numismatist,

I am just like an alcoholic going to an AA meeting,,, but my problem is that I am a Numismatist.

I come here to this Forum for my meetings. This is the only place I can get treatment.

Over the last (2) days I received grades from PCGS on (3) submissions and they were GOOD grades!!!

My problem is that I now only have one submission at PCGS and it will post grades early next week as it and the other (3) submissions arrived in the same package and were checked in on the same day.

Now I am feeling anxious, nervous and I am getting the COLD SWEATS!!! I get this way whenever I realize that I will not be having any grade postings to look forward to. There is only one cure for me. As I type this message I am working on more submissions to get in the mail early next week and off to PCGS for grading.

Heck, I can't even wait for regular mail delivery any more as I started overnighting my submissions. It only costs about $12 more and it saves me a week or so in travel time.

OK, I admit it. Once several years ago I tried ONE submission to another grading service. But as soon as I mailed it off I felt cheap and dirty. Like I had just cheated on my wife!!! Even after I got grades from "that other grading service" there was no adrenalin rush on these grades as there are when I get my PCGS grades!!! I had cheated on my BEST grading service ,,, I had become a grading SLUT!!! I vowed right then and there,,,, NEVER AGAIN would I cheapen myself and MY COINS by sending them to any other grading service. I have kept my word since that terrible day when I cheated on my coins,,, I have been faithful and true to myself and my coins!!! We both feel so much better now!!!

So on this New Years EVE how many of you are like me? How many of you are sitting home in front of the fire place kicking back a few beers, maybe a shot or two,,, working on your coins and just generally being a COIN NERD???

AA gives these out, the Roman numeral represents years of sobriety.

I got one of those around here somewhere. It was in the reject chute at a local grocery store coinstar along with chuck e cheese tokens and similar.
