Death Tokens

I picked up a group of really neat engraved coins several years ago at a BM shop in Dallas, Texas. THis is by far my favorite of the group. Around the rim there is engraving that reads: "When This I See I Think Of Thee And Ever More Will Constant Be". Thought I'd upload a pic.

    I think it's fascinating that they picked a coin from William and Mary to make the token of Maria's death. Plus, that was a long time ago! And the artwork is exquisite. I can see why you like it.

    Though I have nothing like your token, I do have a commemorative coin issued in remembrance of the death of a queen of Poland:
