This question would require some research, but the answers will be interesting.
I add "star players" meaning those with name recognition (as opposed to a bench player who happened to be on the roster for many years but did not play much).
In football I recall that Otto Graham played in something like 10 NFL Championship games. Tom Brady, Terry Bradshaw, Jim Kelly and Joe Montana played in 4 Superbowls. John Elway played in five. Troy Aikman played in three. Roger Staubach played in ?
In basketball, Bill Russell played in 11 or more NBA Championships. John Havileck played in 9 or 10. Kareem played in 6 or 7. Wilt Chamberlain played in 3 or 4.
Baseball and Hockey, I do not know.
How about you sports statistical whizzes pitching in and providing answers.

Boston had an incredible run during the Russell years. I am sure that the league had far fewer teams then than it does now and that the structure of the league allowed for the Celtics to stockpile and keep for years the number of great players it had.
It is difficult to imagine a present day NBA team ever matching the 50's-70's Celtics teams in success, particularly the 60's teams.
I just looked this up - In the almost 70 years of this tournament, there were only 6 teams that won back to back championships. No team other than UCLA has won more than two years in a row.
P.S. No, I am NOT a UCLA fan! LOL

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

For somebody who couldn't field half the time without slipping and falling down, Lonnie sure got lucky with World Series teams!
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
Jean Beliveau played on 10 Stanley Cup champions (in 18 seasons)
Also (OT), but the San Diego Sockers were sort of the Boston Celtics of soccer, winning 10 championships in 11 years: the North American Socker League Championship in 1981-82 and 1983-84, and the Major Indoor Socker League Championship in 1982-83, 1984-85, 1985-86, 1987-88, 1988-89, 1989-90, 1990-91 and 1991-92.

<< <i>I know this is O/T, but one of the greatest "Championship" records, IMO, is that of the UCLA Bruin Basketball Team winning SEVEN STRAIGHT NCAA Titles.

I am the world's biggest Celtics fan, but I wholeheartedly agree with this. Even with players staying for 4 years - the turnover is so hard to overcome. And I'm no fan of UCLA either. That is amazing
