Are there any coins with lobsters on them?

I can't think of any, even the Maine state quarter doesn't have one.

(lobster is only $3.99 lb. right now)

Well why not? Just about every question imagineable has already been asked, and now I see a coin with a lobster on it. No different than show me a coin with a horse or other animal.

There are quite a few coins with crabs on them.

Seems like lotz o' lobsters out there:

Yes. And it's $4.99 a pound here. I bought a 5.5 pounder the other day for about $27. Got some nice lobster rolls out of that guy. image

There is also this very rare and exclusive lobster token, this is just commerating stuffed lobster though and not baked stuff:

About $4.99 each, drawn butter not included.

Your pronunciation is all wrong. As any Mainer can tell you, it is not 'lobster' - it is 'lobstah'. Ayuh.

    That might be a shrimp.

    Which are crustaceans too.

Alright, whose got a coin with a pill bug (rolly polly) on it?

First one with that coin gets a giveaway from me (and I don't usually do giveaways)...

I think the coin was from Peru and that is what they call lobsters in Peru.
Now you should see what they call a donkeyimage

Just toss a couple of Maine quarters into the pot for good luck, though it won't bring any luck for the lobsters.

    Very creative Denver Dave.

A little disturbing, but cool nonetheless.
