I would guess that %90 of the old timers here will say it is AT. Sure does look that way to me. The photo also looks juiced. The circular blue on both sides is just wrong. The wild magenta is an interesting color and it settles into the base while the blue covers the high points with the tops of the lettering and stars untoned in some cases so it is an interesting job.
I'd probably be willing to pay AU money. If I got it I'd strip and dip it then put it between a napkin for a few years... yeah, it just isn't doing it for me...
I wouldn't pay a premium for its toning either, but I think it could be NT. Many of his other coins are almost as vividly toned, but they are in top tier slabs. I'm not a fan of neon toning anyway, so it's a no brainer decision for me.

It looks like heat and or chemicals were used on that coin for sure. A good example of what not to waste your money on . No way a Morgan should look like that if properly stored. Before the shake and bake it was a $ 30 MS62 coin , but it's still worth about $ 15 in my book even with the post mint damage. It's over graded a few points , and the pic is juiced . It's been reduced to just being a colorful piece of junk silver now.

I'm not sure I'd dip that without knowing the source of the toning, but since its a common date wijjit, the worstest that kin happen is ya sell it fer melt.
What's the differance in AT & NT? Some can't tell the differance and the end result is similair. Big deal how it got that way, They're all ugly anyhow imo. Why pay a premium for toning, Does it ever stop? It'll never stay the same color, will it? I just don't get it. Wrapping a coin with a napkin and letting it sit is AT as well, Coin didn't walk over to that napkin and wrap itself up.

Speak for yourself, some of these Morgans are really quite clever little buggers. I have a heck of a time keeping them out of the ice cream.

It is sad yet not shocking to see people who bid on this junk. You can't really blame the doctor though. When they see coins like this one (from the same seller) in a PCGS slab...well, this one's probably NT, but still... they see people pay BIG toning premiums all the time and figure, what the heck?

Interesting coin. Some amazingly vibrant colors, but I would not be willing to purchase this coin as a toning premium.
I'm sure many more will chime in on why this toning pattern is a bit off the wall . . .

Ahh, yes, we know that PCGS and NGC NEVER slabbed any doctored coins... right?

No way are they MS66.
Gotta be at least 68s...
BTW: the second one might be NT. Has a nice look to it, but the image is way over saturated...
