Will this grade?

I am currently working on getting my raw Liberty nickel collection into slabs, and am learning that PCGS and NGC won't slab coins with any damage or corrosion. But I have seen a few with minor damage and/or corrosion. So my question is will this coin slab, or is it too far gone? For the ones that aren't gradable, I am selling and upgrading to better coins.

So what do you think? Should I even attempt to submit this one, or just sell it and get a better one?

Yes, but only as genuine or in a problem holder.

It won't grade.

Buy a new piece.

That coin will not certify at either NGC or PCGS in a problem-free holder with grade. It will, however, get a details grade in an NGC-NCS holder or will be certified as genuine in a PCGS "genuine" holder. The coin is not worth the additional expense, though, in my opinion.

That's what I figured. I will look for a better one then, preferably already graded.
