I saw on the Heritage site that there 20 days left to consign to a March Signature auction. I know ittakes time to get stuff received, photo-ed, cataloged, etc. but in this economy I'd have a hard time giving up control over my coins when things could change rapidly for the worse. I'd at least wait till after FUN or if I had to sell maybe eBay where one can end the listing at any time.

I don;t feel comfy consigning anything RIGHT NOW. image
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

    Sure I would...

    ...IF...

...the auction house gave me a guarantee, in writing, that they will buy the coins that do not sell for the reserve or higher... and will pay the reserve...

...yeah yeah... of course no auction house would do this... so I guess I will not be doing any consigning in the near future... or if I do, I just will not be "comfy" with it...image

    It depends.

(I think this is going to be my standard answer to just about everything for now on.)

With coins, most of the time it's the right answer.

I'm waiting to see how the specialist auctions do from Goldberg's, some of the Stack's etc.

I don't know. Would you all be willing to spend some money on nice coins, say around March? Many will have their tax refunds by then!
