Top 100 Football cards of all time according to Beckett

Does anyone have the November 2007 (i think) football beckett? It has listed the top 100 FB cards of all time and I was just curious to see the list. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

Dave

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

I think I remember reading that article. If it's the one I'm thinking of you will be disappointed, has alot of new crap in the top 100.

I was thinking if it was beckett they would include new crap to keep their readers happy about spending money on their magazine which is for modern collectors. They will look just as foolish as Joe Orlando did in his book about the top 100 cards in the hobby when he included the 1990 Leaf Sosa and 1985 McGwire.

i think i actually remember the becket.. it was the one with drawings of montana and troy aikman on the cover.... it might have only been the top 50 of all time though. i think this should be the top 10

    1) 1935 bronko
    2) 1965 Namath
    3) 1958 Jim Brown
    4) 1952 Bowman large Frank Gifford
    5) 1957 Jonny U
    6) 1971 Bradshaw
    7) 1976 Payton
    8) 1983 Jogo Moon
    9) 1984 USFl Young
    10) 1981 Montana

The following should be up there .. but are a little too modern
    2000 Tom Brady SP authentic
    1998 Manning SP authentic
    1989 Score barry sanders
    1990 Score Emmitt smith

This one ruined the hoby and should be mentioned.. this started the insert/chase card era..

Moon? Are you kidding? Top 10? Not even close

while i don't think moon is anywhere near a top 50 player.. and i'm not even a moon fan.. i do think that his 83 jogo card is one of the top 10-20 football cards of all time. It is by far the most difficult modern football card to find in any grade... the vince lombardi hologram isn't a great card by any means either.. but i think it belongs in the top 50 football cards. thats just my opinion anyways.. if it were a top 50 players rookies.. it would be a very different list.

I think the top 10 (in no order) that I would like to own would be:

    48 Leaf Sammy Baugh
    35 Chicle Bronko Nagurski
    57 Topps John Unitas
    33 Sport Kings Red Grange
    58 Topps Jim Brown
    71 Topps Terry Bradshaw
    62 Topps Fran Tarkenton
    50 Bowman Y.A. Tittle
    65 Topps Joe Namath
    76 Topps Walter Payton

Others (like an 81 Montana or anything more recent than that) are just so plentiful that I could own one in reasonably high grade for not a lot of money. I think that has to count when considering which would be the most fun to own for me.
