Alabama football player booted from Sugar Bowl for dealing with an agent

Alabama OT Andre Smith was reportedly suspended for the Sugar Bowl due to "improper dealings with an agent."
Coach Nick Saban had attributed the discipline to "violation of team rules and policies." The updated story makes it a near-given that Smith will enter the NFL Draft. He'll likely be among the top ten picks next April, even with this "red flag" on his profile. A legal matter might have cost Smith a round.

    He is an outstanding run blocker but is definitely not going to be a member of MENSA.
