Why would you think it might be counterfeit?

It would be much easier on everyone if you list what "some of the details" are instead of being cryptic. Regardless, the initial image appears to be low resolution, which produces image artifacts.

As for original link, I see no reason to believe the coin to be counterfeit. It is a dipped AU that may also have surface issues, but the image is of such low resolution that this cannot be known for certain. However, I am specifically asking you what details look different on that coin that it would possibly appear counterfeit to you.

your first coin shown is not a photo but a scan

look at all the coins that seller has for sale now - most are in PCGS slabs

luster and eye appeal are extremely difficult to tell with their scanner

those 2 shown are both XF or AU - which needs luster to help make determination

Not counterfeit, just a dipped XF45 - AU50, and a very common date at that. Maybe it is an AU50-53 coin, but based on the pics the reverse wing feather detail (check out the left side wing tips) lacks what I personally look for in an AU coin. BlueRidge coins over the years have offered many of cleaned / dipped coin, but they have the integrity to offer their coins as a true auction so whatever you buy the coin at, you have paid close to the real market value for it.

Agree with real but overdipped assessment.
