OT: EBAY Giving Tree Question

I sold a graded card case with 100% of the selling price going to charity. My question is...When does this money get taken from your Paypal Account? I kind of thought it would be taken immediately upon the auction being paid for, but its still showing up in my Paypal account. If anyone knows the answer to this question, I would greatly appreciate it.

Depending on how you set the gift up, it can take a day or two to come out.
Sometimes, it comes out right away, sometimes not.

Since the gift is usually guaranteed by a credit card, it is good to check that
the money was not put on the card AND debited to any PP balance.
