    It is just the forum software doing that. It was written to modern collector grading standards.

    Sort of interesting to think about:

    What would be the 'avatar naming' sequence if this was your forum?

    Definitions of an "Expert":

    (1)
    "Ex" as in has-been;
    "Spurt" as in a drip under pressure.

    (2)
    Anybody who travels more than 100 miles to make a presentation and brings slides.
    Numismatist. 54 year member ANA. Former ANA Senior Authenticator. Winner of four ANA Heath Literary Awards; three Wayte and Olga Raymond Literary Awards; Numismatist of the Year Award 2009, and ANA Lifetime Achievement Award 2020. You are an expert collector in their eyes, just not necessarally an expert numismatist. image

    I would change it to "expert chatter". After 10,000 posts, I would call it "needs a life"

    Be glad this isn't a fishing forum, if you were an expert at putting worms on hooks, you would be a masterbaiter!!image
    It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    Regarding (1) --- another way to look at it...

    "Ex" as in used-to-be
    "Pert" as in short for pertinent... image
    Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free image

    Mad one, you have almost right.

    To be a great Masterbaiter you must hook your fish strongly while pulling on your pole up and down slowly. When everything is in sequence that bait on your pole tends to spit out the slimmy stuff that comes with Mastering your bait.imageimage
