1804 stemless crosslet 4 half cent opinions

I would appreciate your opinions as to the grade and attractivenss of this half centJ(sellers pics, coin not inhand yet). I feel VF20, but then it is mine.

    Looks rough and corroded to me. I'd wait for a nicer one.

    Positive BST transactions with: too many names to list! 36 at last count.

    Looks like a C12 - not scarce (R2) -- VG10 net 7 - 40 bucks tops -can get a lot nicer for 75-100 bucks
  • Nice 1/2 C jes. Probably go 10-12 but the copper boys would net it down a little. Like Joe said, don't pay too much though.

    I agree.

    I would go with a nice smooth coin with wear, rather than a corroded coin with more detail.
