87 Smokey Bear = tall boy? supersized?

Anybody know if these are considered tall boys or supersized cards. Looking to sub a few in Jan. and it looks like Tall Boys are ok and supersized are not.

Thanks, Mike

How much different are they from the 1989 versions Mike?

The 89's are regular sized cards.
  • Here is what they look like:

Labeled: 1987 US FORESTRY SERV. (Player Name) SMOKEY BEARS TEAM

Wonder if these cards are worth anything - I've got hundreds of these cards I bought in a large lot of other cards about a year ago, all in mint condition - 9's or 10's. I thought these cards were basically worthless.

Good luck with the sub - if they're worth anything graded, then I've got a large sub coming to PSA.
  • Steve they are worth something to player collectors but the only three or four players worth collecting and Puckett, Canseco, Carter and there might be a Gwynn in there too. Mostly semi-stars in the set. I have the whole set and have a bunch of box panel cards to sub that I've been saving all year. I was hoping the $5 special would include these but alas, not.

    Thanks, Mike

I remember briefly looking at ebay to see what they were going for and it was peanuts - Thanks for the tip...I'll have to take a look at some of the star cards graded and see if they're worth sending in.

Steve, if you have any Gantners, I'll be happy to take them off your hands.

I just took a quick look - seems like they're all California Angels Smokey Bear cards - I did notice a Nolan Ryan in there I'll have to check out. No Gantners in there that I saw - sorry about that.
