1936 proof 68 mercury

ok so talk about rough to find..its the only merc in pf68 that has a population of just 1...anyone know who owns this gem?? getting xtra tough to find Buffalo Nickels, Walkers, in pf68 of any date also..comments??:

    There are currently 6 PCGS PR68 Buffalos up for bid a Heritage. All are different dates. That is almost a complete set.

    I've looked for that 1936 for years and have never heard who owns it or if it ever existed in the first place.
    One dealer said that he thought that a CA collector had the coin but he had never seen it.
    I still have your 1938 - one of the finest proof dimes that I have ever seen.

  • Hey this old thread is nearly 9 yrs old!! Joshua I agree that 38 merc is a very cool coin..I remember picking it to go on the auction catalog, it was the only white coin in the group as i recall..i know you worked hard to get it! wonder where that 36 in 8 is..
