KM# 496

Anyone know the value of this coin? A local dealer has it and Krause only says 'RARE'. Anyone have a real world value?

I don't know that I've ever seen an iron 10 filler of any date.

Are you sure it's the iron version and not the Cu-Zn-Ni? That one's listed at only $5 (though it's been there since 1993 at least)

Money Trend gives "LP" = asking price for the iron as well.

I couldn't find a single example of the iron at coinarchives....

I saw the coin, it isn't iron. It is KM# 496 according to the dealer. I didn't have a Krause at the show to check it.

According to my Krause, the KM #496 is the iron variety - the KM #494 is the copper/nickel/zinc coin.

hmmm . . . maybe it is iron, I just saw it in the flip. The dealer was 100% sure it is KM# 496

I have the 1915 10 filler in iron and scanned it in to my computer, but when I went to download it to photobucket it said that it was an invalid file. What happened? Have had no trouble in the past.
