I went to visit the grave of Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo Priestess from New Orleans, for some good luck (OK, it was last summer). Pictured is yours truly at the grave. The three "XXX" is an appeal to Marie for good luck, so sayeth a Hyper-Goth Chick that was there that day, she seemed to know more about Marie Laveau then I was entirely comfortable with.
And a coin related aside, at the base of the grave and out of the picture (sorry) are small gifts left for her, candy, flowers "Gris-Gris" pronounced "gree-gree" (a voodoo good luck charm)
and coins......
Goth Chick leaned in close and advised me in a slightly sinister whispered voice that it is extremely bad luck to disturb or take anything left there.
.....so even if someone dropped a Double Eagle there, I'm NOT touching it
Merry Christmas as I sit on Santa Watch. Please count me in!!!

Haven't forgotten about y'all... just briefly had other stuff to do.
I will draw the winner of my trime soon, and winners for any other prizes that haven't been draw yet. In the quick glance I had, it looks as though maybe Greg (savoyspecial) chose his winner already.
Those of you who also wanted to give stuff away and have me select the winners, don't worry- I'll fire up the random number generator and select some winners as soon as I have time to get back to this thread.
