Ok who's the nice person that dropped another oz of Gold in the pot?

According to Fox 5 Washington Dc a good hearted person for the 3rd year in a row dropped a 1998 1oz bullion Gold coin into the salvation army pot at Walmart in Federick Maryland yesterday.
Very nice and more of this should be done. I think the salvation leader stated he got a $1,000 for the coin in the past 2 years and thinks he will get at least $910 this year.
The money went for dinners for the poor, meds for the elderly and coats for kids so they don't freeze. Here, here a fantastic moment in life. God bless everyone and it so good to give and feel I am part of a human race that cares for others.
Merry Xmas to everyone and to the people that I offend by saying this to you happy holidays.

(Just yanking your chain my young friend.)
Yes it is nice in this time of trouble to remember those less fortunate thatn ourselves.
I wish I had some gold to drop in the bucket but I don't so I drop in good ole FRN's evereytime I pass one of the kettles.
Maybe we all should go out and buy a ASE and drop one of those in thekettle. Or better yet how about an old Morgan or Peace Dollar.
How about it guys and girls? We have 2 days left to make a difference.
just a thought......
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Happy Hanukkah also.

CAPITOL idea! I've got a common Morgan or two I wouldn't miss. It may get them a little more press.
BTW a 1 ounce Krugerrand went into a Fort Collins kettle this week, I think it's fairly common across the country this time of year.
I hope it makes a small difference somewhere.
