Nothing really crazy but I found a couple neat cards today. Spent $20 total. Some of these are kind of silly. Some are very tough early parallels. Sometimes I really like to find cards like those.
1998 bowman chrome rookie reprint Willie Mays Beckett$12
2001 topps chrome 'what could have been' josh gibson Beckett $10
1998 skybox thunder 'number crushers' dan marino pullout (stats on the back) beckett $12
2000 fleer ultra 'platinum medallion' parallel Chris Chandler #22/50. I've always loved utra's platinum medallions. Especially in '99.
here is a tough card. 1998 fleer brilliants '24 karat gold' parallel Joe Smith, #9/24
1996 skybox autographics Allan Houston auto. Beckett $20. This dude was a heckuva shooter.
here is the real gem of the night. Gorgeous! 2003-04 Topps Chrome rookie Refractor Chris Bosh! I looked it over, Gem! For those who do not follow basketball these days, Bosh is a stud. He is 8th in the NBA in scoring at over 23 per game, which is 2nd among post players to Nowitzki. Stud. The card is absolutely gorgeous. Not sure what it books for if anyone knows.
Just thought I'd show some of these for fun. I got a few more, including a couple cheap cy youngs and jackie robinsons for fun. Worth my $20, thats for sure.
