For what it's worth, the surfaces have a matte-like appearance!

It may not scream Matte, but it does scream Matt. You're getting a nice set those colored ones. I know where there's a couple more.

But seriously, it's a true gem in the mint state sea, with luster that leaps off the coin like few others. Cartwheel luster on a brown coin that looks like this is rare, even for an MPL, and the ease in which I captured the image is a strong testament to that fact. And for the price I paid, I'm pretty well buried in it... in fact, I may need to be buried WITH it.

Beautiful coins... they are a true addiction

Congratulations!

I think being a MPL collector has opened my eyes to some amazing lincolns and the colors that copper can produce.

I'm glad someone on the Board picked up this coin and if you ever switch direction with your collection, let me know.
