I see sets bring this and I think, what recession?

This 1961 set is nice and all, but compared to some of the other recent '61 set auctions it fetched a huge price. Mine had 192 graded cards with almost a 7 average and I only got $4000. I did the VCP on the graded cards from this one and it came out to around $2400 average. I was prepared to pay $3000 or so, but it went by me without even looking.
