Believe it or not, someone who knew I was a coin collector actually asked if they would be a good investment. I shot down the idea, but I can only imagine how many others were taken in by the hype.

I don't get it. Are these silver rounds? Was this circulating coinage? Was it made by the US mint? What is this?
