pcgs damage

Folks: Has anyone ever had a problem with coins being damaged at pcgs. I have an original, choice fine, bust dollar that was returned by pcgs in a genuine holder, with a brand new light vertical pin scratch on the obverse. I turned it n in person at the Baltimore show. I am certain it was in pristine condition and I have had several graders look at it over the years (because the obvers grade is substantially higher than the reverse grade). I have contacted pcgs, but I wa curious whether this has happened to anyone before.
Any thoughts or suggestions.
