Interesting note about NBC/CBS Week 17 Flex game and how it could change the playoff races

I'm worried about how the NFL's NBC Flex game could effect the AFC East division title race, Right now both games are scheduled for 1:00EST next week. If the NFL (and Week 17's NBC game is completely in the NFL's hands) decides to move one of the games to 8, it could drastically change the way the teams play. If they try to move NE/BUF to 8:00 and MIA and BAL win, the Pats wouldn't be playing for anything. If they move NYJ/MIA to 8 and NWE and BAL win the Jets wouldn't be playing for anything and MIA could waltz to the division title. The NFL better consider this before deciding what game to flex next week.
Same is also true of NFC games. I know the NFL wants the best ratings possible, but altering the race like that would really p*** me off.

Looks like you're are correct, but since Bronco/Chargers was the only 4pm CBS game, they'll need to take one of the 1:00's. Same principle applies

By throwing the game? If Pats win, a Jets win puts Patsies in playoffs as the East champ. Right?
