.....especially losing their final home game at Texas Stadium and also basically knocking them out of the playoffs.
What's better?
I'm thinking about it. LOL

Only 4-point favorites at home vs a 6-8 team traveling three time zones?? Does Vegas know something Kevin don't??

Oh, I presume then you were referring to the greatest football franchise of all time...the Philadelphia Eagles.
I know this for sure...this Cowboys loss helped a ton...a ton! And the Eagles are playing better football right now than any other team in the NFL - This could be a Super Bowl season for the Eagles, and I'm not kidding.

Eagles have to beat the Skins and Cowboys and combine that with one loss by either the Sucs or Falcons.
Cowboys have to beat the Eagles and combine that with two losses by the Sucs or one loss by the Falcons.
Next week will be a real barnburner. The Linc will explode.

CLARIFICATION OF RULES PUTS COWBOYS-EAGLES BACK IN PLAY FOR PRIME-TIME
Posted by Mike Florio on December 16, 2008, 1:25 p.m. EST
Last year, when executives from NBC and/or ESPN would have wrestled in a tepid pool of pig blood for the ability to televise as many Patriots games as possible, we read somewhere (how’s that for precision in reporting?) that NFL rules limit teams to five prime-time regular-season appearances per season, but that one team may play in prime time as many as six times.
We’re now in a position to clear this one up once and for all, in light of the blunder that we thought we’d committed on Monday. (As it turns out, we were wr-wr-wr-mistaken when we acknowledged that we were wr-wr-wr-incorrect.)
The rule, per NFL spokesman Greg Aiello, is that up to three teams may play up to six times in prime-time. Aiello told us via e-mail that the rule has been in place since flex scheduling was adopted in 2006.
This means that the Cowboys (who’ll have five prime-time appearances as of Saturday night) and the Eagles (who currently have five of their own) could be playing their potential pre-playoff playoff game in prime time on December 28.
In our view, however, the decision to make Cowboys-Eagles the final game of the regular season hinges on either the Bucs losing at home to the Chargers on Sunday, or the Falcons losing at Minnesota. If both Tampa and Atlanta win in Week Sixteen, the Cowboys-Eagles game won’t be guaranteed to have a win-and-you’re-in/lose-and-you’re-out component to it. (The Cowboys and Eagles would both need to win this weekend, as well.)
The other primary candidate for Week Seventeen’s prime-time contest is Dolphins-Jets, especially since the Jets play in the nation’s top media market — and since the game probably will determine which team wins the AFC East, with the loser being shut out of the playoffs.
A decision on the Week Seventeen Sunday night game will be made no later than Monday, December 22.

The Eagles - Cowboys smack talk in here could get real ugly that week, Real Ugly - I'd advise women and children to please not view those threads.
<< <i>And I'm probably gonna feel bad later about piling on with all the negative Cowboys comments after their tough loss tonight, because I like most of the Cowboys fans on here....

Ya know what? it's the next day and I don't feel bad at all. I actually feel pretty good.
In fact I forgot to add this: Cowboys suck
