Anyone else watch the NYY official introduction of CC and AJ as the newest Yankees?

watched it while at lunch today with my daughter. Class organization on display there. Nice set-up, excellent statements by the agents of the NYY organization, clear commitment to winning the WS on behalf of the ownership. Every team should do it the way NYY did today. The players aren't speechmakers, otherwise it would have been perfect. I still hate the Yankees, but damn they did a fine job.

What? You think every team should try and BUY a ring?
I threw up in my mouth a little when CC was talking about what it felt like to wear pinstripes. I look forward to booing him endlessly each time he returns to Cleveland, the money grubbing POS.image

I wish him well, except against the Indians.

Our Yankees fan at work says he's already ordering his 2009 Yankees World Series patch.

like I said, players aren't speechmakers. Regardless of the "mercenary" aspect that goose pointed out, the NYY did a great job with the presentation/press conference

I agree with Goose, being an Indians fan I hope CC turns into Steve Blass everytime he faces the Indians....let him keep his health but lose his control.....and as far as Burnett goes I don't think he will be that great at all....another example of trying to buy a ring....
