Sure, hindsight is 20/15, but do you think the Chargers made a mistake by keeping Tomlinson instead of Turner?

In hindsight Turner looks better, but nobody thought so at the time.
LaDainian hasn't been at 100% all year. Maybe he never will be again.
It doesn't take much to change a star running back into an average looking one.
Another factor is that the Charger's defense has been horrible this year.
It's a lot easier to run up big 2nd half rushing stats when you're playing with a lead.
"How about a little fire Scarecrow ?"
I had a buddy tell me in 2005 we should have franchised Hutchinson and let Alexander go, I thought he was crazy to talk about trading the league MVP, but he was right.
He's a bronco fan, so he saw "fill in the blank" running back come in and get 1300 yards after Terrell Davis retired. It seems the O line is the more important than the star RB
joe
having this converstation. If I remember right he started off slow last season too. Maybe they don't need him, Rivers is the top rated passer in the
league.
Now the real question should be...do you go with LT next season or deal him and use Sproles?
Kevin
Sproles is not an every down back.
We're going to have to trade Antonio Gates for Jamal Lewis ...
... and then go into rebuilding mode ...

Nope! Turner was too stright ahead with not enough moves ...
