Matte Proof Lincoln's for the week of 12-17

Bowers and Merena have now listed 13 mattes so the list is up to a record breaking 68!

I got to tell you, keeping track of this many Mattes is a challenge because the auction houses keep changing things. So if you have an eye on a certain coin, check it regularly because it could be moved. Also, new additions can happen at anytime. Since I am heading west for the holidays, there will be no updated list until the 8th of January. May I be the first to wish all the Matte Heads happy holidays and good luck with your bidding.

What we need to do with a list this big is to divide it into two columns. One for "Superior Eye Appeal" and another for "Garden Variety Looks".

But then, what do we need somebody to tell us what has eye appeal and what doesn't. I guess that's what CAC is for

The 1910 also appears to have some rim damage on the reverse. The indent around the first 1 that is on most of the 1910's I've seem is also missing.

both are not mattes IMO, and both have been cleaned.
