Another "rare" high priced State Qtr error

I have one of these, found it in a small group when the Delaware's came out. Are these really worth this much?

LOOK! Delaware Quarter Error - THE FIRST STAT

Maybe I should sell mine?

Edited to add: Wrong forum, forgot which one I was in when I posted this.

  • Didn't someone used to advertise these in CoinAge for like $20 each? I think I remember reading this and check a few of my rolls.

  • I don't remember this ever being very valuable, except as another hyped state quarter. Sounds like a minor filled die, which is not valuable in most series.

dbldie55; worth what, the opening bid or the BIN? Answer: Neither.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

Dog, when I posted this, it had an opening bid, so I had no idea of the BIN price. These were quite common if I remember, worth a few bucks.

  • I'd probably pay 30c for one. Probably go and spend it if I needed an extra quarter for something.image
