Printing "Flip" inserts

Does anyone know of a way to print "Flip" inserts. I've tried the perforated sheets but they only go through the printer a couple of times before they
start falling apart.
I would like to be able to print a few at a time and not have to wait to set up a full sheet to be printed at one time.
Any suggestions ?

Bob

IMO, the perforated sheets are designed to go through once so I always wait until I have enough.

    Handwritten is ok though...............

email sent with the Avery 2.75 x 2.75 template.
Trim bottom row first. Just an idea.

I had mine done on photoshop, then tiled at 1.875 square. I then have them printed on cardstock at Kinkos and I cut them at home on a blade type paper cutter.

  • Hi Bob (and everyone else),

Ancient collectors use 2x2 flips almost exclusively, so...

What you do is just prepare the flips in MS Word, or another word processing program, and then print them out on regular
printer paper, cut them out, fold, and there you go... image

Here are two formats to download, for the flip inserts (makes 10 per page):

Format For MS Word, 2000 or Later

Format For Other Word Processing Programs - RTF

You can change the font to whatever suits you on your computer system, and can use really small fonts, too, in order
to cram in a lot of info onto the flip. After you cut and fold it will fit nicely in one pocket of the 2x2 flip...

    Hope this helped a bit.

Edited to add: The thick flip inserts are more trouble than they are worth, IMHO. They usually cost extra and add
a lot of thickness to the flip - after you use this format, you won't need to buy the inserts anymore - just buy
    the flips by themselves...
