Congrats to all Cowboy fans especially Matt!

Thankfully the Giants great start has put them in a position to still be able to win the NFC top seed next week. image

For me, a tough week of work and then a long road trip to South Florida where I will watch the Giants and Panthers duke it out image

    Thanks Dan!

This thread wasn't directed at the Giants or their fans.

It's directed at the guys that come on here that you hardly ever see. You don't even know what NFL team they like but they sure crawl out from under thier beds when the Cowboys lose.

Of course when they win, they're nowhere to be found
  • I suspect the Giants will still be one of the teams to beat.
The Cowboys are looking awfully good though.

Come on! I need a good laugh with some more of that ridiculous "Tabloid" crap you Cowboy haters
have been crutching yourselves up on.

Awful quite out there....... at least give us your always insightful....... "Cowboys Suck"

Well, at least the Giant Fan had some class in defeat.

Cowboys are lucky to get the Giants sans Jacobs, they were able to be on top of Manning all night long. Defense wins championships, and Dallas
is starting to get some momentum!

Considering they're all different sports, except for the Rays and Braves, I don't see what the big deal is. No expansion by this owner.

I root for my hometown/regional (braves) teams. I'm not going to Cheer for the TAMPA BAY BUCS one second then talk crap about the TAMPA BAY RAYS next like some people.

Not now that they're winners, right?
  • Cowgirls still suck. Better hope they don't get in a fight on the way home and Owens crying again.

    (There you go Matt.)

Cowboys are lucky to get the Giants sans Jacobs,

I guess, but Dallas' starting RB barely played and their second RB is out for the year, so the Giants really don't have any excuses. Injuries are part of the deal - you've got to have depth (and luck).

It was a good win for D, but they've got to clean up all those stupid penalties if they're going to beat a very angry Ravens team.

Nice win by the 'Boys -- maybe they need controversy to fire them up!

Oh, I will always hate the Cowboys, but those 1990s teams were awesome! You know you have great players when you can win a Super Bowl with Barry Switzer as your coach (and have the great Jimmy J. lay the foundation for you).

    No, not reallly.......

Some pms I sent to LMM after he told me he hasn't been to a Rays game in years:

Oh man. You really need to make it to a game. You wouldn't even think you were in the same place. The team isn't a bunch of no names. New Colors. New scoreboard and amenities. Plus, they'll hopefully have a winning record sometime soon.

I think it's $12 to sit in the upper deck this year. Not sure if they changed prices.

That's pretty sweet. We normally try to go to a game a month if the schedule allows. I've been a Braves fan since I was really small but over the past 2-3 years have grown to like the Rays in the AL.

1/6/2008 = 3 months before the season started.
