What are these? Help identifying world coins from Dad's stash.

OK my Father passed away earlier this year, and I am finally getting around to going through them. keep in mind I know nothing of world coins. If you are bored how about helping me identify anything of value or interest. I put my scanner to use but if there is anything of interest I can take hi res pics. I have bunches and bunches of coins but I gotta start somewhere. Here is the 1st batch.

  • The two coins at the bottom right in 2x2s are both Korean 50 hwan dated in the traditional Korean calendar. 4294 equates to 1961. Mintage was 20-million in nickel-brass. They are of nominal value.

In 1966 one zero was dropped and the "hwan" became the "won".

The reference to Japan on one of the 2x2s is completely in error, as Korea obtained independence from Japan at the end of WW II.
