My comments:
Overall, I'm thrilled. Turnaround time was good and the 2 coins I was disappointed on (#3 & 4) are the least valuable anyway. I thought they were both easy 65s. The '36 was an upgrade from a 63 rattler. My comment on PCGS's recent perceived tightness seems to be at the gem level. I've had 4 coins that I thought were lock 65's or 66's all come back as 64's. Thanks to all that said a prayer for me. It was greatly appreciated.

I still consider myself a rookie submitter & haven't had the best of luck with Frankies & Pease Dollars for coins that grade.
And still get BB for cleaning (usually classics with 'old' cleaning), and now 'Questionable Toning' and 'Altered Surfaces'! EEERRRRR

You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.
Can't wait to see what you submitted and how it worked out

That's quite a coincidence as I had 6 raw Lincolns and one Jefferson and decided to do a NGC crossover on the 8th. I too put the quarterly special in the same package with a rattler regrade. The forms are quite daunting as I had to fill out three forms for these 9 coins (grading/regrade/crossover). I can't comment on the NGC forms but I've heard many dealers say they are much easier. My personality is to wait for the box rather than go online for the results. I appreciate the good wishes. Good luck with yours as well!

Tell us it wasn't toned or colorful and a respected dealer said it would grade fine. What? You didn't ask even an experienced collector?
3-1993 gold eagles ready to go and my quarterly special. A raw 38-d Lincoln that I picked up recently.

<< <i>My 14th submission is currently in transit. Would that still be rookie status?

Also, don't forget to check the shared orders page - it will give you a very good idea about turn-around times. For those of us who lean towards compulsive, its a lot better than just checking your own order status. You get to look at each order submitted, guess which tier it was submitted under, and then project when your order will grade. And you get to do it every day!

That's a wonderful first-time submission result. But watch out that it doesn't spoil you. PCGS really does give out bodybags now and then.
nice mix of coins there too. let's see some pics when they come back!!!!
