These cards were reprinted by Star in later years than their original issue, so most grading companies have passed on grading them.
There is some info out there which says Beckett is about to start grading them. I am not sure if they have some new info which will allow them to tell if the cards were part of the original print, or those which were printed at a later date. That is the main reason people have stayed clear and been leery of these cards.
<< <i>That is GAI grading and I am not sure about there grading policy for Star Cards. >>
I'm not a Big fan of GAI myself, But They do have Steve Taft who authenticates the Star Co. issues (atleast they did) From my understanding he's very Knowledgable about these cards..
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards. Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
