NHL Winter Classic....Chicago Black Hawks at Wrigley

On January 1st, 2009....the Chicago Black Hawks will take on the Detroit Red Wings at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
I really enjoyed the game between the Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins last year, and I will be watching this one as well.

I'm not a hockey fan, but I think that's great for the sport. I caught a minute of the Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins game and it looked incredible. I know the NHL wants to limit that type of venue, but I would think a few of those type games a season would be ok.

When Edmonton came up with the idea and hosted the 1st Winter Classic, it was one of the best ideas. Hopefully, they dont over do it. Actually, i would rather have the all star game be an outdoor event, rather than a regular season game.
