Another eBay/Paypal help thread....storm where are you?

Motivated by Rube's everything's a dollar sale, I listed a handful of cards in my eBay store for $1. Some guy buys one card last night for $1 with free shipping. I was about to send him an invoice for the whole dollar when I noticed he lives in Vietnam. I sent him a polite email saying that I only shipped to continental US and it is stated in auction listing. What do I do if he pays for it with Paypal? Do I spend $6 shipping a $1 card to avoid a neg?

USPS 1st Class International Mail to Vietnam is pretty cheap:
1 ounce package = $1.40
2 ounce package = $2.15
3 ounce package = $2.90.
I'd send it, suck up the loss and proceed to revise your auctions if you haven't already.
eBay will only advise you to change your eBay Buyer Requirements and PayPal will advise that you change your PayPal Payment Receiving Preferences to block payments from international buyers.
Neither eBay nor PayPal will side with you on this one.
You're lucky you weren't selling something weighing 4 lbs. You'd be looking at $35.00!

I would block him, too.
"FREE" shipping really only works for US sales.
You can set the listings with "FREE" shipping to block
non-US buyers. Also, you can block PP payments from
places you don't want to ship to.
