The NBA West has 9 playoff teams. Which one will be left out?

Dallas 11-8
San Antonio 11-8


I have nooooo idea? I guess it will come down to whichever team has a devestating injury. Could be only their 4th or 5th best player because in this tight race that could be enough. But if you put a gun to my head I'd say Dallas or Denver won't make it.

I think it's Dallas, John. I like that Denver team with Chauncey. I think they finish 5th or 6th. Dallas is about to close up shop. You're right, an injury to any starter could completely change the complexion of a team.

Maybe a key injury on the Spurs and they just miss the playoffs....

dallas, denver, phoenix and portland are probably the 4 bottom teams of the nine you listed. I think a lot of people feel either dallas and phoenix will not make it, largely because there is an overwhelming feeling that their windows of opportunity are closed given their trades and coaching changes from last season (shaq/porter and kidd/carlisle). portland is talented and only youth will hinder them (especially at pg...although they are rumored to be gunning for a pg). im not a big denver fan, but this team looks a whole more energetic with billups manning pg duties.
